Honor X9c Smart Launches Globally with Stunning 108MP Camera
Honor has unveiled the Honor X9c Smart, an entry-level smartphone for the Malaysian market. This new device looks similar to the Honor X60 in many ways. The most obvious difference is the inclusion of additional camera.
Design and Display
The Honor X9c smart features a 6.8-inch TFT LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz for smooth scrolling and responsive performance. It comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels and an 88.4% screen-to-body ratio, which is enough to deliver clarity in order to have a much more immersive experience. And on top of that, it also boasts a peak brightness of 850 nits.
Design. Honor X9c smart has two color options with regard to design: Ocean Cyan and Moonlight White. To add, the device is waterproof, which promises durability against water-related damage. So far, we could not confirm the IP certification, though. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Under the hood, the Honor X9c smart is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset built on a 6nm process. This octa-core processor (2x2.25 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55) delivers solid performance for everyday tasks and moderate multitasking. Complementing the processor is the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU which makes the device suitable for light gaming and smooth video streaming.
The phone comes with an Android 14 operating system based on Magic OS 8, which offers a very user-friendly interface with many customization options. The internal storage on this smartphone is 25GB, while the RAM is 8GB, offering considerable storage for large application portfolios, photos, and videos. However, it lacks an expandable storage slot.

The Honor X9c Smart comes with a dual-camera setup at the back. The primary sensor is a 108MP wide camera with an f/1.8 aperture, capturing highly detailed and color-rich images. It's paired with a 5MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 aperture that makes it ideal for wide-angle shorts. The camera system features LED flash panorama and HDR to ensure quality photos regardless of the lighting conditions.

On the front side, there is a 16MP selfie camera that has an f/2.5 aperture to capture the most sharp and bright self-portraits. The front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p video at 30fps, delivering smooth and high-quality video footage.

The Honor X9c Smart comes with a massive 5800 mAh battery ensuring long-lasting usage throughout the day. The device supports 35W wired fast charging. In addition the phone features 5W reverse wired charging allowing users to charge other devices.
