Oppo Find N5 expected to launch in China by March 2025 will probably be rebranded as the OnePlus open 2 for international markets. However despite the former launching in March the latter might be delayed by several months.
According to an X tipster, Sanju Choudhary stated that the Open 2 is going to arrive internationally in the second half of the year 2025. The earliest possible launch date for it would be in July. This delay can create a problem for OnePlus because the Open 2 is said to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. By the time it hits global markets Qualomm will probably be gearing up to launch its next flagship chip in October 2025, potentially eclipsing the Open 2 shortly after it is released.

OnePlus 13 and 13R to Global Launch
The delayed timeline of the launch might disappoint OnePlus fans in other countries eager to get their hands on the foldable device's next iteration. The timeline according to Sanju Choudhary reveals that unless additional features or pricing strategies compensate for the delay, OnePlus might find it challenging to maintain its edge in the flagship segment. Details about the Open 2 would likely emerge closer to its global launch.
