Redmi A4 5G

Redmi A5 5G has been launched in India in the last couple of days as the company's newest affordable 5G smartphone. With sales of the new phone commencing from next week, listings on the company's website disclose that it will not work with Airtel 5G in the country. Unlike other 5G offerings in recent times, the Redmi A4 5G will work only on SA (standalone) 5G networks in the country. It comes with a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset.

The product page of Redmi A4 5G on Mi Website states that the handset supports 4G and SA (standalone) 5G networks. According to the listing, the handset does not support 5G NSA (non-standalone). Airtel 5G network in India is based on the NSA architecture, and this makes the new Redmi Phone unsuitable with Airtel 5G.
