Redmi Turbo 4 Details

Redmi sets out to set a new bench with the Turbo 4 launching it as the Worlds First Smartphone powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8400 chipset. Made through the TSMC advanced 4nm process, the Dimensity 8400 comes with the addition of a Cortex-A725 large-core architecture and with that the CPU clocking time above 3GHz. Adding on to this is immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU which comes from the same bag of graphics IP as that found at the flagship Dimensity 9400.

Interestingly, benchmark tests uncover that the dimensity 8400 outperformed Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, with results of over 1.7 million on AnTuTu, which places the Turbo 4 high-performance device at a midrage price. More than this; it puts Redmi right on the top.

In terms of display Redmi is going to fit the Turbo 4 with a flat OLED screen with 1.5k resolution. Moreover, its 3C certification confirms that it supports 90W fast charging.

Pricing

It should compete against 1500 Yuan ($275) and act as a flagship killer. After the Turbo 4, there is a Turbo 4 Pro reported to be in the pipelines for next year, fitted with Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC. This would mean a far more powerful alternative for buyers.

Redmi plans to rebrand the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro as Poco X7 and Poco F7 respectively for international markets. As December unfolds, Redmi is likely to confirm the details, making the Turbo 4 a strong contender in domestic and international markets.
