The Samsung Galaxy S25 family will be expanded this year with the inclusion of Galaxy S25 Slim, apart from the vanilla Plus and Ultra models. Here are some leaked renders of the S24 Slim that offer us a view of its incredibly slim design in details.
Dimension
The Galaxy S25 Slim apparently measures 159 x 76 x 6.4mm, which would be almost as massive as the Galaxy S24+ and the upcoming S25+ in footprint but much thinner than. In comparison, the Galaxy S24+ measures 7.7mm thick, meaning the Slim takes off quite a lot of bulk while retaining a large 6.7-inch to 6.8-inch screen. It has a thickness of 8.3 mm at its camera bump, slightly more than the camera bump expected from the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Cameras
It is slender, yet there will be a 200 MP main camera sensor, which utilizes Samsung ISOCELL HP5 unit. In addition to that, there will be a 50MP ultrawide camera, which uses the ISOCELL JN5 sensor and a 50MP telephoto camera that can do 3.5x optical zoom.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset and 12 GB of RAM will power the phone delivering top-tier performance that will make it a class apart. The S25 Slim will come with Android 15 and One UI 7 out of the box, providing the latest software experience.
Expected Launch and Concerns
Samsung will preview the S25 Slim during the Unpacked event on 22 January but will not roll out other versions of the Galaxy S25 alongside it. Instead it is reported to be launched during February. Other reports had voiced their concerns towards its battery capacity which might range between 3000mAh to 4000mAh. This might be a trade-off for consumers that value battery life much.
