Oppo A5 Pro Reaches Global Market
Oppo has officially launched the A5 Pro in the global market a new variant of the Chinese model which was released in December. The international model comes with a different chipset display specifications and durability features while retaining Oppo signature design and software experience.

The Oppo A5 Pro (Global) features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with anHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate giving it a massive kickback from the
6.7-inch AMOLED offered on the Chinese model. The panel boasts 1000 nits of
peak brightness making it more readable in bright conditions.
One of the key highlights of this model is it is IP66/68/69
water and dust resistance rating along with MIL-STD-810H military-grade
certifications. Another major difference is that the global model has a
side-mounted fingerprinted compared to an under-display sensor found on the
Chinese model.
Oppo has also introduced 360-degree drop resistance making the device more durable against accidental falls. The phone available in Flower Pink and Mocha Brown color options.

and Software
Powering the Oppo A5 Pro (Global) is the Dimensity 6300 chipset a downgrade from the Chinese model which has the Dminsity 7300. The phone is available in 6GB or 8GB RAM variants coupled with 128GB or 256GB storage. It runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 offering the latest software experience with improved features and optimizations.
Cameras
The rear camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor the same as the Chinese model. The 8MP front camera is housed in the punch-hole cutout for selfies while the Chinese model has a 16MP selfie camera.
Battery
and Pricing
The device is powered by a massive 5800mAh battery which
supports 45W wired charging for faster recharging times. With this capacity the
phone aims to provide extended battery life for daily use. Meanwhile the
Chinese model offers a Si/C Li-lon 6000mAh battery with even faster 80W wired
charging.
In terms of pricing the 6 GB/128 GB variant is priced at $243
while the 8 GB/256 GB version costs $290. The Chinese model also has 256 GB/12
GB, 512 GB/8 GB and GB/12 GB models but those are not coming to the
international market. The company expects to roll out the global variant in
multiple markets soon.
