Oppo Confirms Launch Date for Find X8 Ultra Flagship
Oppo has officially confirmed that the Find X8 Ultra will launch in April slightly later than the initial rumors suggesting a March release. Zhou Yibao Oppo find series product manager made the announcement stating that the device will go on sale the same month.
A Unique Flat-Screen Ultra Flagship
Zhou also hinted that the Find X8 Ultra could be the only
Ultra smartphone from a Chinese brand this year featuring a flat display. While
he did not disclose specific details he teased that the phone will have the
(narrowest) feature in the world possibly referring to extremely thin bezels.
Leaks suggest that the device will sport a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display manufactured by BOE a 1-inch type main camera and two periscope telephoto lenses alongside an ultrawide sensor. It these rumors hold the Find X8 Ultra could bring significant improvements to mobile photography.
Oppo’s Ultra-Thin Small-Screen Flagship
In addition to the Find X8 Ultra Oppo plans to unveil another
device described as an (ultra-thin small-screen flagship find). This is likely
the Find X8 Next previously rumored as the Find X8 Mini.
The find X8 Next is expected to be between 7mm and 7.99mm
thin which aligns with Oppo branding shifts. This move suggests that Oppo aims
to position the device as a direct as a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy
S25 Edge and the IPhone 17 Air both known for their sleek designs and compact
flagship performance at least in leaks.
