Samsung's Galaxy S25 Phones Once Again Lean Heavily
Samsung introduced a range of new features and enhancements with One UI 7 it is latest custom skin based on Android 15. Initially launched with the Galaxy S25 series this update brought several advanced camera capabilities. Now new reports suggest that Samsung might extend these camera improvements to older flagship models with an upcoming One UI 7.1 update.
What Camera Features Could Arrive on Older Samsung Devices?
According to a report One UI 7 introduced a variety of new camera features including customizable filters log video, virtual aperture and 10-bit HDR video recording. Since these improvements are largely software-based Samsung may soon roll them out to older Galaxy models that support One UI 7.1.
One of the standout additions in the Galaxy S25 series is the inclusion of six new filters. Users can tweak the aesthetic of their photos by adjusting settings such as color temperature contrast and saturation. Additionally customizable filters will allow users to create a save their own unique presets.
In Pro Mode Samsung introduced Log Video format support designed for professional videography. This feature enhances dynamic range and provides more flexibility in post-processing. The Galaxy S25 series also introduced default 10-bit HDR video recording enabling richer colors and improved contrast in videos.
Which Devices Will Receive These Features?
Since these enhancements are software-driven Samsung plans to deliver them to high-end models like the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra in the One UI 7.1 update Samsung has not officially confirmed the rollout but given it is history of bringing flagship features to previous-generation devices it is highly likely that these improvements will reach older models soon.
